When I went to Blogger Preview at The Makeup Show LA 2013 Part 1, I received wonderful products.

I wished I took pictures of all the items together. I could mention the ones I have reviewed and such. Oh well, at least I'm learning through experience. One of the things I received was a brush soap from Enkore.

Thoughts: At another event, my friend who's also another blogger mentioned this is a great brush soap. I ended up getting another Enkore brush soap even before trying this.
Here's a closer look at the soap.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, it smells good. I'm guessing it's suppose to smell like pearberry but I don't know how that smells. It's only noticeable while sniffing the soap. I don't really notice anything while washing the brush. Secondly and when it comes to brush soaps, I'm a newbie. This is my first brush soap. At this moment of time, I'm actually on my second brush soap. I will base this brush soap kind of from that. Third, it's extremely easy to use. I wet my brush and lather it up from the soap. With each usage, my process changed. Towards the end of the soap, I wet the soap and the brush. It was faster to wash the brush. I don't know if it's just me but I thought the soap was on the dry side. I felt that I had to work harder with this soap to get to the point of lather or feel the brush was clean. Lastly, it did clean the brushes well. I wouldn't say great but good enough. I noticed it was hard to clean close to the ferrule with this brush soap. Compared to the brush soap I'm using at the moment, I didn't like Enkore. It just wasn't comparable. I hate to say this but I regret purchasing another brush soap from this line. I always say it's better to use before purchasing more. Of course, I didn't take my own opinion. :X Since I have another soap from this line, I will give it another try. Maybe pearberry isn't comparable to the other scent?

Pros:
* Smell fruity.
* Easy to use.
* Feels kind of dry.
* Clean well.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.
* Takes an effort to clean the brushes.
* Doesn't clean super well especially by the ferrule.

Would repurchase: No.
Rating:  2.5/4 Tobey's Paws
