In December 2015, I received some products from e.l.f. Cosmetics.

I took this picture from my Instagram. I already reviewed e.l.f. Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Toast on the bottom right and e.l.f. 3-in-1 Mascara on the top right. For this post, I will review the eyeshadow palette on the top left.

Thoughts: When I first saw this on Instagram, the first thing that came to mind is that it's my type of palette.
Here's how the palette looks open. It tells you where to use the eyeshadows. You don't have to follow the direction.
Here's a closer look at the eyeshadows. It comes with five different colors and there's no specific name for each shadows.
Here's a closer look at one of the eyeshadows. This is the top right.

Now for the swatches...
Here's a swatch from left, top middle, to top right on my hand.
Here's a swatch of the bottom middle and bottom right on my hand.

Here's a look I did with the palette...
Look #1:
I applied the top middle on the lid and left on top of it. I creased it out with top right on the crease and outer v.
Here's an overall look. I have MustaeV 10 Lip Pro Palette on my lips.

Look #2:
I have e.l.f. Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Toast on the lid. I blended it out with top middle on the crease and outer v.
Here's another angle of the same look. I have Kiss True Volume Lashes in Posh.
Here's an overall look with Dose of Colors in Stone from the Terra Collection on my lips.

Look #3:
I applied left on the lid, and blended out with middle top on the crease and outer v.
Here's an overall look. I have Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint in TBT on the lips. I will review the lip product in the future.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the packaging is small. It makes it travel-friendly where you can put the palette in your pocket. With that said, it doesn't come with a brush so you do have to carry one with you. You can carry one of those sponge applicators or even use your fingers. I prefer not to use my fingers but that's my personal preference. Secondly, it can be versatile but it's not versatile. I know that doesn't make sense. It's versatile in the sense that you can wear it in daily basis. Then you can smoke it out for the night out. It's not versatile in the sense there's no highlighter color under the brow. You can use the lightest one on the far left but it'll have a lot of sparkles. I'm not a big fan of sparkles under the brow. Third, I felt some colors were more pigmented than others. It didn't look that way when I swatched them on my hand but when it came to applying, it was a different story. I had to apply multiple times on the lid to get color. When I have to work harder than I need to, I'm not a big fan. I honestly believe shadows need to glide onto the eyes effortlessly. Lastly, the lasting power was all day long. It did not smudge or came off.

Pros:
* Travel-friendly.
* Comes with a mirror.
* Great for day to night out.
* Did not smudge.
* Lasted all day.
* Cruelty-free.

Cons:
* If you carry the palette, you need to carry a brush.
* Might need extra shadows for an entire eye look.
* Some shadows are not pigmented; need to work harder to apply onto the eye.

Would repurchase: No.
