When I first heard about Play! By Sephora, it was end of last year (2015). I had to go on a wait list and was taken out last month (April). I was so excited to receive my first Play! By Sephora.

The theme for May 2016 is "The Forces of Nature."

"Earth To Beauty: This month, discover products that are high performing - and good for you, too. Take your beauty back to its roots with hardworking formulas like a brightening facial treatment for petal-soft skin, an antioxidant-rich lipstick made with organic ingredients, and more products that prove that looking beautiful is only natural."

Inside every month you receive 50 extra Beauty Insider points.
Inside the package, there's a bag with the goodies.
The first sample is Atelier Cologne in Orange Sanguine. It's described as "a refreshing burst of sweet blood orange and bitter orange peel paired with notes of geranium." I might keep this for myself. I'm a huge fan of blood orange scent.
The second sample is Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche in Kimchi. They described as "handcrafted, high-pigment lipstick delivers intense hydration using twelve edible oils." It's a bright pink lipstick or at least it looks that way. I definitely will keep this since it's name Kimchi and most likely will review it.
The third sample is Tarte Tarteist Lip Crayon in Latergram. It's described as "prime and line with this lip crayon that nurtures with vitamin E and antioxidants." I'm not too sure if I will review it or not. I will decided when I try this out.
The fourth sample is Origins Maskimizer + Drink Up & Clear Improvement Masks. It's described as "innovative priming mist optimizes skin's condition, while the charcoal mask cleanses and the overnight mask deeply moisturizes." I cannot wait to try this product. It sounds interesting.
Here's how it looks open.
The fifth sample is Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial. It's described as "lightweight overnight facial treatment melts into skin to brighten and moisturize with wild rose oil." I'll definitely review this.
The last sample is Brigeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask. It's described as "intensely hydrating hair treatment made with naturally derived ingredients to restore and replenish." I'm not too sure if I will review this or not. I need to think about it.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all and with all subscription boxes, you get excited not knowing what's inside the package. It feels like Christmas opening presents to see what's inside or at least that's how I feel. With that said, I was sadden it wasn't in a box but in a bag. Since Play! By Sephora started last year, they were in a box. Yes, it came in a box but there was another box inside or at least from all the YouTube videos, it looked that way. That's one of the reason why I finally decided to purchase this subscription box. I think other $10 beauty subscriptions are good but what am I going to do with all these makeup bags? At least with the box (all in same sizes), I can use it to organize and put it in my closest. Secondly, another reason why I decided to purchase this subscription box is knowing they're products and brands that you can get from Sephora. It's pointless giving us samples that cannot be purchase in store. I don't want to try a product that I love and know that I have to order it from another website. I already have so many sites I'm signed to and get emails. I just don't need more. With that said, it's as said you get five samples and one perfume sample. I'm pretty happy with the samples and they're exactly what I expected. Third and with all Play! By Sephora, you get 50 extra Beauty Insider points. I think that's a great concept, but they also changed from before. From what I read and saw on YouTube videos, you had three months to go to the store to add the points. Now it's only a little over a month. You were also able to add up the points so if you had three 50 Beauty Insider points, you can get 150 at one time. Now you can only get 50 Beauty Insider points at a time. This is good for people who purchase often from Sephora, as well as, for people who visit the store often. For myself, it'll be a waste of points. I hardly go to the store, as well as, purchase. Lastly, I'm happy with the samples but I hate that they changed this month since they started. They should have kept the same concept. Isn't that why a lot of people purchase after seeing what past subscriptions were? I know I did!

Pros:
* Exciting to open to see what's inside.
* Samples that you can purchase from Sephora.
* Get extra 50 Beauty Insider points.

Cons:
* Did not come in a box.
* Cannot add the Beauty Insider points anymore.
* Only have a little bit over a month to get the extra Beauty Insider points.
* Only can get the Beauty Insider points in-store.
* Changed from the past subscriptions.

Would repurchase: Maybe.
