In September 2016, I visited Sephora and saw this lip kit Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip.

At first, I thought they were all sample sizes until I read the back. Two out of the six are full-size products. That's a steal for $28! One full-size product can cost in their twenties and there's two in the kit, as well as, decent size samples.
Here's how it looks inside.
Here are the lip products. The first four from the left are samples and the last two are full-size products. This is so worth it especially since I've been wanting to get Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in Stepping Out. For paying a little bit more, I got another full-size product and four samples. For this post, I will review the first product I touched which is the Smashbox.

Thoughts: I've been wanting this lip product since it came out especially one specific color, Stepping Out. Every time I go to the store, it's sold out. When I saw Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip and found out it's a full-size product, I was intrigued. I asked one of workers what color it was, she told it's either In Demand or Stepping Out. Basically, I had a fifty-fifty chance it was Stepping Out. I took a risk and was happy I did!
Here's a closer look at the color.
Here's a closer look at the applicator.
Here's a swatch of the liquid lipstick on my hand.
Here's how it looks on me.
Here's an overall look. I have Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush in Satisfy on the cheeks.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, there's no noticeable scent while applying. I just sniffed the product and there'a slight scent. It's not chemical like other liquid lipsticks I have tried. I cannot distinguish the smell but it's very minimal. Secondly, I actually like the packaging. It fits with the Smashbox theme; square-like tube. Not only that, it's extremely well-made and sturdy. It's very travel-friendly, and I don't have to worry about it getting scratches and fingerprints. I also like the applicator. It has a pointy end which helps define the outline of the lips, as well as, the flat side to color in the remain. Third, the consistency feels more like a creamy lipstick in a tube than a liquid lipstick. It has a slight liquidity-feel but not to the point that it's that noticeable. With that said, it went on smoothly and there was no tugging involved. I also like that you don't have to re-dip back into the tube to get more color. One pull is good enough for the entire lip. Actually, it pulls more than you need but it's all good. It's better to have more than less, because you can re-dip and pull more than you need. Fourth, it dries quickly and there's no stickiness at all. It all depends on the liquid lipsticks and how thin of a layer you apply. Some dry quicker than others depending on the brand. This has to be the fastest drying liquid lipstick I have tried. It dries within a minute. With that said, I didn't feel any stickiness at all. Most liquid lipsticks I feel the stickiness while waiting for it to dry. I didn't with Smashbox. I also love that it did not fall in-between my deep lines. It made my lips look youthful. For that reason, I think this is great for dry lips like myself. Of course, you need to scrub and get rid of chapped skin. You have to do that with all liquid lipsticks or else it'll look like a hot mess. Fifth, the color is gorgeous! It's a great neutral color on the warmer side. It's good for fall/winter weather, as well as, great for both day and nighttime. Not only that, it's pretty pigmented. Lastly, it lasts a long time. After I eat/drink, I noticed the inner part of the lip comes off. It probably rubbed off from the napkin. I wipe my mouth after each meal unfortunately. I'm just a messy eater. Most liquid lipsticks come off except the outline. This liquid lipstick lasts longer than most I have tried. It also did not dry out my lips. It's the most comfortable feeling liquid lipstick I have tried so far. Now I can see why so many people love this product from Smashbox!
