I am fortunate to work with Madam Glam.

I took this picture from my Instagram. I already reviewed Madam Glam in Minty Canvas (third from the left), Madam Glam in Kiss Me Now (first from the left), Madam Glam in More Diamonds Please (fourth from the left), and Madam Glam in For A Kiss (second from the left). For this post, I will review the glitter on the bottom.
Product Review: Madam Glam Glitters in Pink Serum

Where to purchase: online at madamglam.com
Price: $6.50 for 5g

Description from the website:
Color: pinky copper

Quantity: 5 g
Formula: glitter dust

Application:
1. Open the glitter pot and push the glitters on one side of the pot to create a mount before you polish your nails, this will make dipping your nail into the pot easier. If your nails are long, you can use a cosmetics spoon to pour the glitters on your nail.
2. Apply a coat of the polish or clear top in the area where you want the glitters to be. Leave a small gap around the edges and cuticle area.
3. Immediately dip your wet polishes nail into the glitter pot.
4. Turn your finger from side to side to ensure you get glitters on the side of your nail.
5. The nail will be dry to the touch immediately after applying the glitter, but remember that the polish underneath is still wet.
6. Make sure you LIGHTLY brush off the loose glitters around the nails.
Ingredients:
BUTYL ACETATE, ETHYL ACETATE, NITROCELLULOSE, ACRYLIC RESIN, TRIETHYL CITRATE, BENTONITE
Thoughts: For the longest time I avoided glitters in a pot. I just assumed it's messy and hard to work with. So when the company sent me the glitter, I waited to the last.
Here's a closer look at the glitters.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in Original and Formula X Prime Xcel Base Coat on all my fingers. Then two coats of OPI in Small + Cute = Heart on my thumb and index fingers, two coats of OPI in Look at My Bow! on the middle finger, two coats of OPI in Super Cute in Pink on my ringer finger, and two coats of OPI in Spoken from the Heart on the pinkie finger. Then topped the ring finger with Madam Glam Glitters in Pink Serum and topped all the fingers with Formula X Shine Xcel Top Coat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I wasn't too sure what to expect. I avoided loose glitters in fear that I couldn't use it well. Basically, I thought my skills were limited. Let me tell you if I can use this, everyone can. With that said, I like the packaging of the container. There were couple of questions before I used this product. One is why is the glitter not to the top inside the container. Now that I have used this product, it makes a lot of sense. If the glitters were to the top, it would be a complete mess and hard to work with. You need to able to move the glitters to one side of the pot so you can put your finger inside. If it was full, that'll be hard to do. The other question I asked is why is the diameter so wide. Again you need space to dip your finger inside the pot, as well as, move the fingers side to side to get the glitters on the entire nail bed. The container is thick and sturdy. It needs to be since we're putting our fingers inside the pot. The pot has to be strong to deal with the roughness with the nail art. The top also has a tight seal. That is very crucial because you don't want it to open. It'll be a complete mess and it'll be hard to clean. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. Secondly, the glitters are finely milled. If you don't like big glitters like myself, this is perfect for you. With that said, I was impressed it was easy to use. All I did was put my finger inside the pot as soon as I finished painting. Then I moved it side to side to coat every spot. I have a tendency to paint my nails at night. Since I didn't have the light from the sun, it looked like I covered my entire nail bed. I was wrong the next morning. I missed spots on the sides. Even though I missed spots, it doesn't look like that with the naked eyes. Now from experience, I know what to look for the next time I use the glitters. With that said, it went on smoothly and there were no streaking whatsoever. I do recommend using a towel paper, newspaper, paper, or whatever works for you to cover the area before using the glitters. It's not messy but you do see few glitters in the area you worked at. I also used the paper to put the put the fallen glitters back into the pot. Fourth the color is gorgeous! I'm not a pink person but this pink is hot. It has multiple colored glitters, textures, and it's very sparkly. I used it as an accent color and love it. It's great for all year round. You can use it as a main color or as an accent. You can get creative and do different nail arts. It is all up to the individual and how creative you can get. Pigmented-wise it's out there. I was impressed how bright and gorgeous the glitters came out to be. If you're not into sparkly polishes, this isn't for you. Lastly, the glitters chip as the nail polish chips. Since my polish shrunk a little, so did the glitters. If you glance at the polish, it doesn't even look that way since it's so sparkly. It takes away from the shrinkage. When it came to chipping, there were none whatsoever. I just removed the polish and it's the same as glitter polishes. It does take some effort but not that much. I just coat it a little bit with cotton pads with remover. It loosens the polishes and makes it easier to remove. With that said, I became a fan of glitters. I don't see a point of avoiding it like I use to. I highly recommend it!
